Instructions
- Prepare Strawberries: Remove stems from strawberries and slice them in half. Set aside half (8 ounces) of the strawberries to freeze.
- Freeze Strawberries: Place the halved 8 ounces of strawberries in the freezer and allow them to freeze completely, approximately 2 hours.
- Blend Ingredients: Add both fresh and frozen strawberries to the jar of a high-speed blender. Pour in the rum, simple syrup, and lime juice. Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined.
- Garnish and Serve: Pour the blended daiquiri into glasses and garnish with an extra strawberry and/or a lime wedge for presentation.
- Optional Non-Alcoholic Version: To make a virgin daiquiri, omit the rum and replace it with 4 ounces of water, then blend as directed.
